I will always rant that we can only catch this on ESPN or Star Sports but coming May the world beach volleyball pairs are heading our town! The China Women Asian gold medalist are gonna play too and of coz our local players went in thru the wildcard. Its gonna be a chill, cheer and cool sat! I have grab my tickets , how abt ya?

Actually this is the 2nd bottle we had , the 1st left over bottle we done it in like 10 min. Kikusui sake, a bit of fruity taste, not very dry and very suitable for the ladies.

The abalone is lightly sauteed with soy and its really one of the sweetest abalone i had ever tasted

As usual I caught this with Min on friday nite, its certainly one of the better play we caught this year so far. It makes me reminisce the time where my mum will bring to me to watch Chinese opera with her at the streets of bugis where my childhood used to be. One thing that touches me was that Mr Koh Boon Teck could blend the love for his mum and his arty passion in this production. There is more to this play which my limited vocabs can comment on.

I can only just say that titoudao is worth catching it, pls do catch it and its running till 31st March. Oh, ya need 80% proficiency in hokkien to truly enjoy it and i believe CAB will have no problem in it.

This year reunion dinner @ Made In China but this year round its much a quieter affair as our chairman 'Chris Png' is still in the french alps with his beau. Feb 24th

Back at Camelbak for the last runs of the season and this is where the only encounter I had with an asian opposite gender for the whole of the trip. Its juz only me and her up the ski lift and i broke the ice by asking where she is from. Shes says she's local but resides in Shanghai most of the time and then i start to converse with her in mandarin. She speaks perfect mandarin and she ask which slope will i go , told her tat i am trying out the terrain. She says she heading there too. Cool. We got off the lift and went our separates ways. While queuing up for the lift again after the run, I bump into her again and she says she saw me crashing while attempting the 2nd slope. I tried to impress her by telling her its my only couple of times riding and that i came from sg where there is no snow. But she seems nonchanlant abt it. We were in the same lift again and we chat more this time. The best thing is tat i didnt get her name throughout and her age but i reckon she is 24 years my junior! ha.... regret not taking any pics with her. btw she real cute for her age.

Got an early flight to catch back home and we barely catch a wink before Ah Zhi send me to JFK. Thanks ya Dan for the hospitablity and everything for making this a nice trip for me.

This time round i came in office wear, no excuse on refusing me to dine in or chill @ the bar.
No picture taken at Yen dining as the food was -
1. Stewed Pork taste like halah 扣肉。
2. Grilled pufferfish taste like bee cheng hiang bak kwa .
3. Tofu taste like bricks.
4. Salmon soup taste like detergent
The only thing that kept me for the nite was the 750ml Kinaru sake. I down like 3/4 of it.

Rating : 9 puis out of 10
spare the one pui for the kinaru or else i gave 10 puis.

The best thing in life is to indulge in the company of few good frds in an authentic jap restaurant somewhere in katong having sake and every dish is a surprise when it is serve.
